Situated directly behind the University of Newcastle and alongside the scenic Shortland Wetlands, Shortland Waters Golf Club is one of Newcastle’s best and most popular golfing attractions.

Our 1930’s style Clubhouse is the ideal venue for that special function, with weddings a specialty. The Clubhouse provides magnificent views over our 18-hole championship golf course.

Our Clubhouse can cater for between 2 and 180 guests comfortably with all the facilities of a Registered Club, including Club Keno, and the big screen television.

CLUBHOUSE HOURS

  • Monday to Thursday: 10.30am-7.00pm (8.00pm during daylight savings hours)
  • Friday and Saturday: 10.00am-8.00pm (Closing times are at discretion of Duty Staff)
  • Sunday: 10.30am-7.00pm

Our Bistro is open Monday to Friday for lunch and open for dinners as advertised.
